Dr Ujwala Parashar

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, MBBS, FRANZCOG

Dr Ujwala Parashar is a highly trained female obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 15 years of professional experience and medical training, practicing in Sydney's North Shore and Barangaroo.

After completing her medical degree, Dr Parashar moved to Australia to pursue specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal North Shore Hospital. As part of her training, she has worked in some of the most prestigious hospitals in Sydney.

In addition, Dr Parashar successfully completed Allan Ferrier Memorial Fellowship at North Shore Private Hospital and the Mater Hospital. During her fellowship years, she had the opportunity of managing complex obstetrics and gynaecology patients in an extremely busy hospital setting. She has also trained under some of the best urogynaecologists in Australia leading to her interest in this area and to completing two research projects.

After completing her specialist training, Dr Parashar completed a year at Westmead hospital as a Gynaecology fellow to further her education in the latest evidence-based medical therapies.

Dr Parashar regularly participates in medical student teaching, attends and presents at conferences to share her knowledge and continue her ongoing education.

Fondly known to everyone as "Ujj", Dr Parashar has followed her passion to provide the best possible care and empathy to women and their families, as well as adopting a holistic approach to treating urogynaecological issues (related to incontinence and prolapse).

She is the mother of two daughters and likes to spend her free time with her loving husband and her young family.
